Digital cartography for Telefonica in Argentina
Preparation of cartographic material at scale of 1:1,000 covering 26 urban areas in Buenos Aires and Santa Fe provinces, with a total approximate area of 150,000 hectares.
Description
The contract includes an additional flight of 70,000 hectares to cover another 47 urban areas.
Phases to develop the digital cartography:
- Firstly, making a Photogrammetric Flight, an orthogonal photographic cover is obtained at scale of 1:8,000 of the urban areas requested by Telefonica Argentina.
- Following a Field Survey is carried out creating a topographical network from the National Geodesic Network which vertex covers the studied area.
- Lately the Restitution of the photographic pairs is done for those obtained in the flight phase, including all details needed for the job (squares, parcels, buildings, sidewalks, paths, roads, telecommunication poles, etc.).
- Finally an Intelligent Cartography is created in Telefonicas SINPLEX format from, creating a link between the graphical elements of squares, parcels, buildings, roads and theirs corresponding alphanumeric identification.
Final documentation is provided in digital support at scale of 1:1,000.
