Description
During execution of the project, the external plant inventory management system was developed based on ESRI technology and Network Engineer. These are the main works involved in the project:
- Introduction of the Geographic Information System in Telefónica Spain, Operations and Network Engineering Systems.
- Creation and maintenance of the Fibre and Cable Network.
- Management of the connectivity of external plant elements.
- Management and coordination of work orders.
- Preparation of project budgets and materials inventory.
- Interface with assessment and inventory systems.
- Creation of schematic network diagrams.
- Web tool for map display and consultation.
- Generation of internal plant models and connectivity with external plant.
- Management and display of internal plant elements.
- Other network analysis and management tools.
