Description

The technical support provided to the GAP Regional Development Administration by the consortium led by Eptisa has been split into two components: first, helping the GAP Regional Administration to implement a territorial planning, investment policy and social support programme in the six provinces of Batman, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Siirt, Şanlıurfa and Şırnak.

The second components involves a pilot project for the institutional strengthening of the local Administration for the sustainable management of flooding risk as well as the appropriate management of natural disaster in the provinces of Batman, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Siirt, Şanlıurfa, Şırnak, Gaziantep, Adıyaman and Kilis.

As a recognition of the good work carried out by Eptisa and the optimum result achieved the Opening Ceremony held in the city of Şanlıurfa, was attended by the senior members of the European Union Delegation in Turkey and the Contracting Authority, as well as by the most important regional and local politicians.
