Eptisa has been awarded a new contract at the end of 2011 to carry out the Regional Master Plans for Drinking Water and Sanitation for the South and West Zones of Haiti. The scope of works includes the preparation of feasibility studies for 9 cities located in these zones to provide data for investment proposals in drinking water supply and sanitation systems within the minimum possible delay. The Master Plan will include this data as well as short, medium and long term investment proposals for the two zones.
As part of the scope of works, a national inventory of water resources and water infrastructures will be carried out. In addition socio-economic surveys will be realized to obtain the information related to population and water use and demand. Eptisa will then establish a diagnosis of the situation and prepare proposals for the network improvement and management of investments in cooperation with the National Directorate of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation.Eptisa has an office based in Puerto Principe, Haiti where a large team of experts and local engineers contribute to the good implementation of the project.
