Eptisa will support the effective implementation of IPA* II in Bosnia and Herzegovina

A Consortium composed by Eptisa, Ernst & Young, and Kronauer Consulting has recently been awarded a contract to support the National IPA Coordinator's (NIPAC) Office and SPOs and all other relevant institutions and stakeholders in Bosnia and Herzegovina at different levels of governance in fulfilling the requirements necessary for efficient and effective introduction, national programming and utilization/absorption of IPA II funds, with focus on IPA II national programming processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The overall objective of this project is the effective implementation of IPA II in Bosnia and Herzegovina aimed at fostering European Integration process and alignment with the EU standards and policies.

Eptisa will have to strengthen capacities and performance-based skills of NIPAC Office and SPO structures including relevant institutions at different levels of governance for effective implementation of IPA II, according to IPA II regulation.

It will be also responsible to support the preparation of IPA II programming process documents, a consultation process involving all relevant BiH stakeholders throughout IPA annual/multiannual planning and programming process, developing and monitoring IPA II indicators. One of the activities will be the support to the creation of a database to monitor IPA assistance, including preparation of system requirement specifications by an expert(s) and provision of the database development from the incidentals. The coordination of the Twinning instrument in NIPAC Office will also be supported and institutional capacity of NIPAC Office to respond to IPA II programming and monitoring in the sense of human resources development will be further strengthen through following sub-activities

For the next 24 months, a team of local and international experts will be responsible for implementing this project.
