In the framework of the Budget Support Program for State consolidation (State Building Contract, SBC) funded by the European Union, a Study Trip has been organized last November to give the opportunity to a Haitian delegation formed by twelve members of different ministries, legislative power and civil society, to BE immersed in Ivory Coast experience related to the performance of the last Budget Support Program granted by the European Union to this country.

It has been the occasion to organize meetings and exchanges with different public and private institutions: Cell of coordination of the Ivory Coast / European Union cooperation, Public Service Ministry, Public Finance Reforms Commission, Ministry of Education, National Assembly, Ivorian Civil Society Convention, and Ministry of Communication.

This study trip, which lasted five days, has been a success thanks to several meetings and discussions, constructive and rewarding debates on monitoring of preparation and formulation of budget supports funded by European Union, dealing as well as with the management of disbursement dossiers. As a result, the importance of the involvement of all stakeholders for the follow up of indicators has been highlighted as well as for the monitoring and evaluations of the policies implemented.
