December 09 2014

On Thursday the 27th November, Eptisa attended the seminar "Energy Sector in EU External Aid Programs" held in Brussels.

These networking sector seminars are organized twice a year by two of the Permanent Representations before the European Union. On this occasion the Italian and Swedish Representations were in charge of hosting this seminar.

Experts and representatives from the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and the European Development and Reconstruction Bank went through the latest developments, novelties and different instruments of the European Energy Policy. The Energy sector is clearly a priority for the European Union for this new financial period 2014-2020.

Energy opportunities for the private sector were also discussed and a panel discussion took place between representatives from several companies.

On the afternoon session, companies held the traditional "one to one" meetings, which was a privileged occasion for Eptisa to meet and discuss with potential partners on Energy projects.

Many companies did show their interest to collaborate with Eptisa seen our experience working with the EU, particularly within the EU External Assistance Programmes, such as:

  • Western and Central Africa: EU Technical Assistance facility for the "Sustainable Energy for all" Initiative (SE4ALL)
  • Serbia: Preparation of Technical Specifications and Tender Dossier, and Supervision for Supply Contract and for Design & Works Contract for Construction of Substations 400/110 KV Vranje 4 & Leskovac-2 and accompanying Lines
  • Serbia: Sustainable Development in Energy Sector
