Eptisa has been awarded the Internationalization Award of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club for our outstanding international projection

With a network of 16 international offices, we participate in projects in 43 countries throughout America, Africa, Asia and Europe

The award ceremony was held at the Casino de Madrid yesterday and was attended by numerous personalities from the economic and political life. Mr. Jaime García-Legaz, Secretary of State for Trade, presented the award in the category of “Small and medium-sized businesses with an outstanding international projection” to the President of Eptisa, Mr. Ángel Corcóstegui.

The Spanish Exporters and Investors Club celebrates annually the Internationalization Awards in recognition of all persons, companies and institutions who have contributed to the development of the Spanish economy and to the internationalization of the Spanish companies.

The jury has valued Eptisa placing particular emphasis on how we have reoriented our business to foreign trade, the strong position we have achieved in international markets in a short period of time and the excellent work we are developing in multilateral organizations.

Other winners in this edition were MAXAM, in the Large Spanish Company with outstanding international projection category, Agencia EFE, for his contribution as news agency in the internationalization of Spanish companies abroad, and Mr. Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the European Commission for their excellent work supporting European business and especially the Spanish, and their contribution to enhancing the international market positioning of Spanish companies.

Our international development began in the late 60’s, exporting our engineering knowledge acquiring in Spanish engineering projects towards Latin American and Eastern Europe markets.

Currently our international business represents over 70% of our production and the international backlog is over 78%. As well, over half of our staff develops its professional activity in international projects.

With a network of 16 international offices located on three continents, currently we participate in ongoing projects in 43 countries throughout America, Africa, Asia and Europe.

Furthermore, we are a reference among the Spanish companies that works in projects financed by multilateral funding organizations, such as the European Union, Asian Development Bank, World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank.

We want to express our gratitude for this award to Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, and from Eptisa will continue supporting a global world vision and working to promote the technical knowledge of the Spanish companies.
