Eptisa participated to the inauguration of Stauceni Integrated Waste Management Center – Botosani County, Romania

The works consisted in design and construction of the sorting and leachate station and commissioning of Stauceni ecologic landfill, with a 0,95 million tones capacity

This is the first contract finalised within the project “Integrated Waste Management System in Botosani County”, co-financed by the European Union through the Sectorial Operation Program for Environment (SOP Environment) – Priority Axis 2, major intervention area 1: “Development of integrated wastes management systems and rehabilitation of historical contaminated sites”, which will be developed until August 2015. The project has several contracts under implementation, which have as objective to develop sustainable wastes management systems, reduce the environmental impact by improving the wastes management services and reduce the number of existing non-compliant landfills.

Within the project, Eptisa supervises the construction works and acts as the Engineer, according to the national and European legislation. Also, Eptisa ensures reception of the related materials, goods and equipments within the procurement contracts.

Following the successful completion and reception of the works of this first contract within the project, the Beneficiary organised a press conference on November 6th, followed by a visit to the objectives within the contract.
