The Project has 14 months of duration and belongs to the Cadastre and Registry Regularization Program co-funded by the Inter-American Development Bank

The Government of Costa Rica with the aim to find a solution for the situation of the cadastre and the real property registration of the country has awarded to Eptisa a new contract titled "Cadastre preparation and compatibilization for Cadastre and Registry information for Zapotal Area". This project belongs to the Cadastre and Registry Regularization Program, co-funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), with the aim to strengthen legal security of real property rights and improve the climate for public and private investments in Costa Rica.

For the next 14 months, Eptisa will provide technical, legal and administrative services for the implementation of the Cadastre - Register Model and improve land use and management of municipal government resources.

Among all the activities that Eptisa will carry out in the course of the project, must emphasize the overhaul of the country's legal and regulatory framework for real property rights; training the office and fieldwork staff in cadastre; collection of previous Cadastre and Registry data; implementation of local awareness campaigns and workshops in each district; quality and risks control; validation of the cadastral cartography and real property tax registries, and final delivery of the Municipality data to the Implementation Unit.

In addition, will prepare as final product for each district in digital format: cadastral cartography, associated database, Property Tax Registries and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Registries.
