The quality controls will be carried out both in public and private works

January 21 2013

The Alcobendas City Council has awarded to Eptisa a new contract for the Quality Control of public projects, works and constructions carried out in the Alcobendas municipality, as well as the Quality Control for works in private land and in the private initiative selected by the City Council.

The contract will last three years, with the opportunity to extend it three years more. This is the first time that all the works that will be carried out for the different departments of the City Council are framed under a unique contract.

During next three years, Eptisa will carry out the supervision of all municipal projects, taking part in all stages of each project:

In the design phase, Eptisa will verify the compliance with the technical standards in both public and building works. In addition, Eptisa will draw up the Quality Control Plan for each work to define the controls that will be carried out over the materials, products and facilities, as well as the operation tests before its commissioning.

During the execution phase, Eptisa will verify that the Plan is implemented correctly as well as controlling the execution and correct finalization of the works, carrying out sampling, control of materials and other needed actions.

Eptisa will also carry out the tests, samplings, and geometric and topographic verifications that the City Council requests.
