The Spanish public company "Infraestructures de la Generalitat de Catalunya, S.A.U." has awarded Eptisa a new contract to carry out the restructuring of road accesses to C-63 road between PK 0+650 at the beginning of the urban area and PK 4+700 in the southern mouth of the Monturiol Tunnel, in the region of Gerona.

The section is 4 km. long and has heavy traffic, excessive speed and a large number of accesses to residential and activity areas, making the section a trouble spot.

Eptisa will analyze the most viable technical and economical solutions for the restructuring of the section accesses, including the elimination of left turns, introduction of roundabouts, centre turning lanes and service roads, improvement of signalling and pavement, and other complementary works.

This project, together with other actions undertaken, expects to complete the improvement of the road safety in the route Vidreres - Lloret de Mar.
