Eptisa will provide technical assistance for works supervision for the extension and rehabilitation of water infrastructure in Romania

The Romanian Regional Company “APA CANAL 2000 S.A. PITESTI” has awarded to Eptisa a new contract to provide technical assistance for Works Supervision: “Extension and Rehabilitation of the Drinking and Waste Water Infrastructure in Arges County”, which has a budget of EUR 3,618,256 financed by the Cohesion Funds- EU and will be developed until July 2016.

The project consists in investments for the water treatment and distribution network as well as for wastewater treatment that would be implemented in the urban areas of Arges County and that would have as result connection to the population within these areas to the water network and compliance with the relevant EU directives. The general objective of the project is to provide a local strategy for the development of the water sector for reaching the targets negotiated by Romania during the pre and post-accession process to the European Union.

Eptisa will provide technical assistance for works supervision, by assuming the role of the Supervision Engineer, as defined by FIDIC Conditions, for the rehabilitation of the water systems in Pitesti, Stefanesti, Maracineni, Albota, Mosoaia,Bradu, Merisani, Bascov, Costesti and Topoloveni

Eptisa will supervise 11 works contracts, 8 according to FIDIC Red Book and 3 according to FIDIC Yellow Book and Law 10/1995 regarding the quality in construction and preparation of the project reports, according to the requirements of the ToR.

This is the first project which will be implemented by Eptisa with the Local Company - S.C. APA CANAL 2000 S.A. PITESTI.
