The European Commission has awarded a new contract to Eptisa in consortium with the German company GFA Consulting Group, to provide technical assistance services to the Supporting Public Health Institutes Programme, financed under the DCI-Sante (Thematic Investing in People Programme).

The global objective of the “Supporting public health institutes” programme, which will be implemented in 47 countries, is to contribute to the protection and promotion of population’s health through the provision of policy analysis and policy advice.

More specifically the purpose of the programme is to enhance expertise, knowledge and resources of selected schools of public health or public health research –or training- institutes in low-income countries to provide national health authorities and stakeholders with evidence-based and locally adapted policy advice, training and other support to feed decision and policy making and to monitor implementation at national or sub national level.

The consortium led by GFA Consulting Group will implement the project during 60 months, from January 2015 to January 2020.
