The Government of Aragon, through the Consortium of the Airport of Teruel (Spain), has awarded Eptisa a new contract for drawing up the Pavement Project of the esplanade in the Airport of Teruel, with three months of duration.

The objective of the works is drawing up a 60,000 m2 pavement for the park lane and the geometric design of the taxi lanes, park lane and aircraft recycling. The aircraft recycling area will be located next to the hangar with a surface area of 12,000 square meters of concrete during the first phase of the project.

Moreover, a pipeline network below ground will be designed with the aim of draining rainwater and other possible fluids. This will be carried out taking into account the later stages of enlargement of the park lane areas and hydrocarbonated water treatment.

The cost of the works will be determined by the project, but the initial estimation of the Consortium could range between 3.2 and 4.2 million Euros in two phases.
