The National Highways Authority of India trusts Eptisa with a new award to provide independent engineering services

The project is part of the Phase III of the National Highways Development Project in the State of Haryana

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India, through the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), has awarded to Eptisa a new contract to provide independent engineering services for four lane highway of Rohtak to Hissar section of NH-10, with a construction period of 30 months and 6 months of O&M Period.

This project includes the section from km 87.000 to km 170.000 including connecting link from km 87.000 (NH-10) to km 348.000 (NH-71) to be executed on DBFOT pattern under the Phase III of the National Highways Development Project in the State of Haryana.

The DBFOT (Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Transfer) projects basically constitute upgradation involving construction of 4-lane highway including bridges; widening and rehabilitation of bridges and culverts; construction of high embankment /elevated structures/ROBs wayside amenities, etc. along the existing highways including provision of realignment and bypasses. The proposed construction works will involve use of modern equipment and construction techniques.

Eptisa will review the drawings, detailed design, construction methodology, quality assurance procedures and the procurement, engineering and construction time schedule sent to it by the Concessionaire and furnish its comments. It will also review, inspect and supervise the construction works, O&M and the divestment requirements, conducting tests on completion of construction and issuing Completion/Provisional Certificate.
