{"id":3892,"date":"2025-10-08T10:25:04","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T08:25:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eptisa.com\/?p=3892"},"modified":"2025-10-08T10:27:51","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T08:27:51","slug":"eptisa-walks-with-a-coruna-towards-a-more-human-sustainable-and-connected-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eptisa.com\/en\/eptisa-walks-with-a-coruna-towards-a-more-human-sustainable-and-connected-city\/","title":{"rendered":"Eptisa walks with A Coru\u00f1a towards a more human, sustainable, and connected city"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud to share that <strong>A Coru\u00f1a has been recognized, for the second consecutive year, with the \u201cCiudades que Caminan\u201d (Cities That Walk)<\/strong> Award, a distinction that celebrates the commitment of cities to a people-centered urban model, sustainable mobility, and the recovery of public space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This recognition highlights the firm commitment of the <strong>Concello de A Coru\u00f1a <\/strong>to transform some of the city\u2019s most iconic spaces \u2014 such as <strong>r\u00faa Compostela,<\/strong> <strong>San Andr\u00e9s, and Os Cant\u00f3ns <\/strong>\u2014 into more accessible, green, and welcoming environments, designed for walking, socializing, and enjoying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At <strong>Eptisa<\/strong>, we are especially proud to have played an active role in this urban transformation that enhances the quality of life for citizens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We drafted the <strong>Reurbanization Project for San Andr\u00e9s Street<\/strong> and managed its construction, helping to revitalize a historic thoroughfare with sustainability, accessibility, and urban design criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In collaboration with <strong>V\u00e1zquez Calatayud Arquitectos<\/strong>, we drafted the <strong>Reurbanization Project for Os Cant\u00f3ns<\/strong> and also oversaw its execution, shaping a more open, inclusive space connected to its surroundings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our team worked with passion, technical rigor, and urban sensitivity to ensure these projects reflect a new way of understanding the city: <strong>more human, greener, and better connected<\/strong>. Each intervention was designed to return prominence to people, promote active mobility, and create spaces that invite collective enjoyment and connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This award not only recognizes the work accomplished, but also motivates us to continue supporting projects that transform our cities and contribute to building a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congratulations to A Coru\u00f1a and its Concello for this well-deserved recognition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Eptisa, we reaffirm our commitment to responsible urban planning, innovation, and the continuous improvement of urban environments.
