{"id":4174,"date":"2026-06-04T09:23:16","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T07:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eptisa.com\/?p=4174"},"modified":"2026-06-04T09:25:02","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T07:25:02","slug":"eptisa-receives-the-rafael-izquierdo-award-for-solidarity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eptisa.com\/en\/eptisa-receives-the-rafael-izquierdo-award-for-solidarity\/","title":{"rendered":"Eptisa Receives the Rafael Izquierdo Award for Solidarity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Caminos Foundation has awarded Eptisa\u2014celebrating the 70th anniversary of its founding this year\u2014the Rafael Izquierdo Award for Solidarity in the corporate category, in recognition of its extensive track record of collaboration in international cooperation projects, which spans more than three decades.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Granted by the Caminos Foundation in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Civil Engineers (Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos), this award, now in its 12th edition, acknowledges initiatives demonstrating solidarity and social commitment in the fields of civil engineering, transport, water, and the environment. The awards ceremony, held at Madrid\u2019s Teatro Real, brought together more than 700 attendees, including institutional representatives and industry professionals. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Eptisa\u2019s case, the award recognizes three decades of activities focused on engineering at the service of people, with the aim of creating fairer, more resilient, and more sustainable societies.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mauricio G\u00f3mez Villarino, CEO of Eptisa, expressed his gratitude for the award \u201con behalf of hundreds of \u2018Engineering Teams\u2019 who have contributed to making our planet more livable, within a company built by people,\u201d and added that \u201cthis recognition is particularly meaningful in the year Eptisa celebrates its 70th anniversary, as not many companies manage to pass through that major milestone of maturity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company\u2019s CEO described Eptisa as a benchmark of \u201cengineering with a soul\u2014committed and highly advanced,\u201d an image he has held since the beginning of his career as an engineer 25 years ago, when he had the opportunity to learn in detail about an Eptisa project that demonstrated how to produce water in underserved areas facing scarcity, unlocking their potential.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Caminos Foundation has awarded Eptisa\u2014celebrating the 70th anniversary of its founding this year\u2014the Rafael Izquierdo Award for Solidarity in the corporate category, in recognition of its extensive track record of collaboration in international cooperation projects, which spans more than three decades.
