Eptisa leads community participation and institutional strengthening interventions in areas highly exposed to river floods, cyclones and floods, with a special focus on <strong>climate adaptation, social inclusion and community preparedness<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Services provided:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Community Based Disaster <strong>Risk Management (CBDRM)<\/strong> and Climate Change Training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication campaigns on <strong>WASH, health, nutrition, gender and skills.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Community risk mapping<\/strong> and development of evacuation plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support for the <strong>management and operation of emergency shelters<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of communication strategies, educational materials and protocols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training for <strong>School Management Committees and Local Disaster Committees (UDMCs)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working directly with <strong>women&#8217;s organizations<\/strong> and gender violence prevention committees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development and revision of <strong>operation and maintenance guidelines<\/strong> for shelters and community infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Impact:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Significantly improved <strong>community resilience<\/strong>, flood preparedness and local capacities to cope with climate disasters.
