This 28 km infrastructure is a key part of the <strong>Bioceanic Corridor<\/strong>, connecting the country&#8217;s eastern and western borders and linking trade routes between <strong>Brazil, Peru, Chile and Bolivia<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Main components:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4-lane dual carriageway (2 in each direction)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1,600 m tunnel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5.1 km of reinforced concrete retaining walls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elevation gain of over 1,300 m in 28 km<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Project objectives:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guarantee permanent and safe transit all year round.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving road safety conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce maintenance costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote regional and national integration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consolidate the inter-oceanic logistics corridor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Role of Eptisa:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We lead the <strong>integral supervision of the work<\/strong>, including the review and validation of the engineering design, quality control, physical-financial follow-up, environmental verification and contractual management.
