{"id":3820,"date":"2025-10-02T11:07:18","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T09:07:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eptisa.com\/?post_type=proyectos&#038;p=3820"},"modified":"2025-10-02T11:42:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T09:42:12","slug":"supervision-of-the-works-for-the-reconstruction-and-expansion-of-the-serbian-port-of-bogojevo","status":"publish","type":"proyectos","link":"https:\/\/www.eptisa.com\/en\/projects\/supervision-of-the-works-for-the-reconstruction-and-expansion-of-the-serbian-port-of-bogojevo\/","title":{"rendered":"Supervision of the Works for the Reconstruction and Expansion of the Serbian Port of Bogojevo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Project Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eptisa is providing <strong>construction supervision<\/strong> services for the<strong> reconstruction and expansion of the Port of Bogojevo<\/strong>, a strategic initiative aligned with Serbia\u2019s national transport policy and the EU\u2019s development plans for the Danube River corridor.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The overall objective of the project is <strong>to improve inland waterway infrastructure<\/strong> on the Danube River, ensuring <strong>fast, safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly<\/strong> freight transportation, in accordance with the <strong>Danube Commission Recommendations and the EU<\/strong> transport system development strategy.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Construction Supervision<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Acting as the <strong>FIDIC Engineer<\/strong> under the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction (Red Book, First Edition 1999).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring compliance with Serbia\u2019s <strong>Rulebook on the content and manner of conducting construction supervision<\/strong> (\u201cPravilnik o sadr\u017eini i na\u010dinu vo\u0111enja stru\u010dnog nadzora\u201d) and relevant national legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Environmental and Social Monitoring<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supervision of the <strong>Environmental Monitoring Plan<\/strong> implemented by the Works Contractor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversight of the <strong>Social Action Plan<\/strong>, ensuring alignment with sustainability and community impact standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The upgraded Port of Bogojevo will significantly enhance Serbia\u2019s capacity for inland waterway freight transport, contributing to regional economic growth, improved logistics, and environmental sustainability.
