Project Overview

Eptisa is delivering technical assistance services to support the implementation of the Regional Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Development Project in Buzău County, a major initiative aimed at improving water supply and sanitation systems in the region.

The contract includes project management and supervision of works, ensuring that all activities are executed in line with national regulations and EU standards, and that the infrastructure meets long-term development goals.

Scope of Work

• Revision of the Master Plan to define short-, medium-, and long-term investment programs (covering at least 20 years post-completion).
• Updating the general cost estimate of the project.
• Visibility and communication actions in accordance with EU Regulation No. 1303/2013 and the Visual Identity Manual for Structural Instruments 2014–2020.
• Implementation of GIS systems for Ramnicu Sărat, Nehoiu, and Pătârlagele water and sewage networks.
• Hydraulic modeling for the Nehoiu water and sewage system.
• Acting as FIDIC Engineer/Supervisor for works contracts, ensuring compliance with Romanian construction supervision regulations.
• Monitoring of environmental and social aspects, including oversight of the contractor’s Social Action Plan.
• Supervision of testing, commissioning, and operation of the infrastructure during the Defect Notification/Warranty Period.
• Ongoing technical assistance throughout the contract duration to ensure successful implementation.
