“Connecting communities to the future: sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure to improve quality of life in Prahova.”
On September 15, 2025, EPTISA officially signed the contract for Technical Assistance for the management and supervision of works contracts within the framework of the Regional Project for the Development of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure in Prahova County (2014–2020).
This project, co-financed by the European Union through the Sustainable Development Programme 2021–2027, involves an estimated investment of €670 million. It will be implemented through 24 works contracts across 42 localities in the county, including service contracts, execution contracts, design & build contracts, and supply contracts.
EPTISA will act as Consultant and Supervisor for a period of 72 months, providing technical assistance to the regional operator Hidro Prahova S.A. The scope includes investment project management and supervision of works aimed at improving water supply and sanitation infrastructure.
This project marks a significant step forward in strengthening public services in the region, contributing to improved quality of life for the population and ensuring compliance with European environmental standards.
