Africa and the Middle East

Eptisa's presence in Africa and the Middle East dates back to the 1990s, with consistent involvement in projects funded by international organizations.

Since then, we have built a solid track record as a provider of technical consulting services, institutional support, construction supervision, and development cooperation.

In Africa, our activity spans both the Maghreb (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Mauritania) and Sub-Saharan Africa, where we are actively engaged in countries such as Senegal, Niger, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, and Angola. We are especially recognized for our experience in water and sanitation infrastructure, environment, urban development, transport, and institutional strengthening.

We have permanent offices in Ethiopia, which strengthen our operational capacity in East Africa. In this country, as well as in Angola, we have delivered high-impact contracts in sectors critical to social and economic development, consolidating our position as a regional reference partner.

One of our most prominent milestones is our involvement in the ROM (Results-Oriented Monitoring) project, a European Union initiative in which Eptisa has led the monitoring and evaluation of cooperation projects across the African continent. This work has been essential to assess the impact, effectiveness, and sustainability of EU-funded interventions in diverse sectors.

In the Middle East, our experience has focused on countries such as Oman (where we maintain a permanent office), Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq, developing projects in institutional support, public services, and strategic planning — even in fragile and post-conflict settings.

Our work is carried out in close collaboration with institutions such as the European Union, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, AECID, and other bilateral and multilateral agencies. Through a multidisciplinary approach, a broad network of experts, and a strong local presence, Eptisa continues to actively contribute to sustainable development in Africa and the Middle East.
