The President of the Republic of Moldova, Mrs. Maia Sandu, the President of the EBRD, Mr. Odile Renauld-Basso, and senior officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and the State Road Administration participated in the inauguration ceremony of section 2 of the M3 Chisinau-Giurgiulești road.
The total length of the upgraded section of the M3 road is 31.3 km, from km 151+200 to km 171+290 and from km 179+650 to km 190+750. The total budget of the project amounted to EUR 31.7 million and was financed by the EBRD. Eptisa played the role of FIDIC Engineer and supervised the quality of the works throughout the implementation of the project in accordance with the FIDIC Contract Conditions – MDB harmonized edition.
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Mrs. Maia Sandu, stated on this occasion: “I took part today in the inauguration of a new section of the M3 Chisinau – Giurgiulești highway. It is the most important road connecting the capital with Giurgiulesti and one of the most important gateways to the European Union” (border with Romania).
