This project focuses on the design of the railway platform for an approximately 9-kilometer bypass section of the future railway line connecting Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Maspalomas. It also includes the design of the intermodal station at Playa del Inglés.

The Scope of Work Includes:

• Definition of the railway platform in the section of action.
• Design of the electrification system corresponding to the line in this section.
• Design of the intermodal station building, as a point of connection between rail transport and other modes of transport.
• Replacement of the section of the GC-500 road affected by the railway layout.
• Projects for the assembly of track and complementary elements.

Project Impact:

This variant is key to guaranteeing urban integration, sustainable mobility and intermodal connectivity in one of the main tourist centers of the island, facilitating the future implementation of rapid rail transport between the north and south of Gran Canaria.
