Within the framework of the State Building Contract, this project aims to strengthen the Haitian state’s capacities in three priority areas: public finance management, public administration reform and improvement of the education and vocational training system.
Key objectives:
- Improve transparency and control of public spending
- Support the modernization of the administration and civil service.
- Strengthening the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Education
- Promote the production of statistical data and monitoring of the SDGs.
Expected results:
- Improvement of financial management according to PEFA standards
- Implementation of a new civil service system
- Strengthening the follow-up of the Haitian Strategic Development Plan (PSDH)
- Effective coordination with technical and financial partners
- Preparation of reports and disbursement dossiers for budget support
Role of Eptisa:
Eptisa provides direct technical assistance to beneficiary institutions, including sector analysis, inter-institutional coordination, mobilization of experts, follow-up of reforms and support in the development of monitoring and evaluation tools.
Impact:
Direct contribution to the institutional consolidation of Haiti and the strengthening of key public policies in a context of fragility, promoting sustainability and transparency in state management.
