Low Carbon Business Action – Phase 2

Sustainable partnerships to promote low-carbon technologies

Phase 2 of the Low Carbon Business Action (LCBA) program aims to support Mexico in the fight against climate change by promoting business partnerships between Mexican and European SMEs for the adoption of low-carbon technologies.

Main objectives:
  • Facilitate the adoption of sustainable technologies by Mexican industry.
  • Promote the internationalization of European SMEs in the green sector.
  • Stimulating investments and technical cooperation in clean solutions
Expected results:
  • Selection of 40 projects (CPA) with high environmental and economic impact potential.
  • Provision of co-financed technical assistance (75% EU / 25% beneficiary company).
  • Development of proposals ready for investment and execution
  • Employment, investment and emission reduction impact assessments

Role of Eptisa:

Eptisa leads comprehensive technical assistance, including the creation of an evaluation committee, technical and financial feasibility analysis of projects, and support to beneficiary companies in overcoming technological, regulatory and commercial gaps. It also facilitates access to financing mechanisms and promotes the effective transfer of sustainable technology.
