Eptisa leads the design and technical assistance services for the Support Program for Rural Bridges (SupRB), contributing to improve connectivity and resilience of infrastructure in rural areas through the construction, rehabilitation or expansion of bridges under local and international standards.
Scope of the design:
- 19,000 m of new bridges or replacements
- 2,500 m of capacity expansions
- 2,500 m of structural rehabilitation
Services provided:
- Detailed structural design with a focus on climate resilience
- Technical evaluation of existing bridges and rehabilitation proposals
- Topographical and geotechnical surveys and detailed cost estimates
- Slope protection, electrification and associated infrastructure
- Preparation of design templates and construction specifications
- Support to the PMU in planning, monitoring, reporting and financial management.
- Development of institutional capacity building measures
