About
Óscar Rodríguez is the Director for Latin America, with over 30 years of national and international experience in the civil infrastructure sector.
He joined Eptisa in 2002 as a Construction Supervision Team Leader, and later served as Director of the Madrid Laboratory, managing large-scale flagship projects with multidisciplinary teams around the world (Ireland, Greece, Haiti, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Peru, Georgia, among others).
Which Eptisa project has made a special impression on you and why?
ESPEL. It was my first experience working with foreign partners and clients — different mindsets and approaches, but all pursuing the same goal.
What is your greatest challenge as an executive today?
There are two, and they are closely related:
Expanding our market share in Latin America by showcasing our capabilities to potential clients.
Conveying to our technical teams the value of entering markets where opportunities are virtually limitless. My goal is to dispel fears of failure and overcome biases, showing that — with proper management — almost any project can be successful.
What do you value most in your team?
Loyalty, collaboration among colleagues, and strong organizational skills.
