Award: Chinchero Airport works supervision

The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru has awarded the Chinchero Airport Work Supervision contract, in Cusco, to the AIIC JV formed by GHESA Ingeniería y Tecnología, S.A., Eptisa, TEC-4 and Airia Ingeniería y Servicios S.A.

The airport infrastructure will require an investment of US $ 427 million, including the passenger terminal. It will be eight times larger than the current Cusco airport.

Chinchero International Airport will be the first “green airport” in the country, as its infrastructure will be environmentally friendly, complying with ecological standards and international certification.

It should be executed in 47 months.
