EPTISA launches WWTP project in Bitola – North Macedonia

EPTISA is proud to officially launch the Bitola Wastewater Treatment Plant project.

On July 28, 2025, the Municipality of Bitola, North Macedonia, marked the official start of the design and construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) project with a kick-off meeting.

This facility will serve approximately 112,474 EP, with a designed average daily flow of about 27,090 m³/day, significantly improving wastewater management and environmental sustainability in the region. The project is financed in collaboration with the EU and the Macedonian government.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of the Environment, the City Council, the Communal Company, the Contractor and the Supervisor.

EPTISA is honored to act as supervisor of this important project, which aims to improve local infrastructure, protect natural water resources and support sustainable development in the region.
