Eptisa was honored to receive at its headquarters a delegation from the Government of Uzbekistan headed by its Minister of Housing, Mr. Sherzod Khidoyatov.
The meeting was attended by the heads of Eptisa’s Central Asia office, as well as Eptisa’s President, CEO and other Eptisa management team.
The purpose of the visit was to learn first-hand about the urban and housing models developed in different locations in the Community of Madrid.
After a general presentation of Eptisa’s services, the Smart City project that Eptisa has developed in the Madrid town of Fuenlabrada was presented. This project is a mobility project that promotes the use of public transport, specifically bicycles and electric trains. The interest in this project developed by Eptisa was so positive that the Delegation of Uzbekistan requested an on-site visit.
With the collaboration of the Mayor of Urban Planning of the City Council of Fuenlabrada, Mr. Andrés de las Alas-Pumariño, a tour of the new urban area of the town was organized. The Minister of Uzbekistan and his team showed special interest in social housing. Eptisa collaborates regularly with this City Council.
The visit was complemented with a meeting at the Colegio de Administradores de la Propiedad de la Comunidad de Madrid, during which the Horizontal Property Law was explained to the Minister and his team, information that the Uzbek Delegation considered of great interest.
Eptisa, from its subsidiary in Central Asia, is developing several projects in Uzbekistan, where the Ministry of Housing is one of its main clients, obtaining very good results and great interest on both sides to continue and increase the collaboration.
